When intake gas needs heating, the engine controller gets into the engine starting procedure after controlling intake gas to be heated and directly gets into the starting procedure when intake gas does not need heating. Intake heating is judged through cooperation of the hybrid power unit and the controller. The engine controller does not need to conduct intake heating data initialization and optimize the control program after the key switch is started each time, and the influence of starting of the key switch on the intake heating function is reduced. The invention further provides a hybrid power engine intake heating control system and a hybrid electric vehicle.
