Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a data migration method, a data migration device and equipment. The method comprises the following steps: migrating a full-volume data index in an old storagesystem to a new storage system, and marking a time period for migrating a first data index as a full-volume migration time period; obtaining an incremental data index generated in the old storage system in the full migration time period; if the quantity of the incremental data indexes is smaller than a migration data threshold value, switching a storage system providing service from an old storagesystem to a backup storage system; migrating the incremental data index to a new storage system; switching the storage system providing the service from the backup storage system to a new storage system; and migrating the data in the old storage system to the new storage system according to the data index in the new storage system. By means of the method, data migration in the storage system canbe achieved under the condition that services provided to the outside are not affected, so that the service request of a user is guaranteed. The user experience is improved.
