Embodiment Construction

[0052] The following will clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

[0053] Multilateral type low-density parity-check code (MET-LDPC code) was first proposed by Tom Richardson in 2004. This code type has better performance and wider application range. MET-LDPC code includes a more extensive Coding framework, its edge class covers the structural characteristics of CT codes, RA codes, and LDPC codes. The structural feature of the MET-LDPC code is that it introduces various types of edge classes in its factor graph, and also introduce...

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of digital communication, and particularly relates to an optimization method of a multilateral low-density parity check code. The method comprises the following steps: setting a threshold value of an SPC codec; setting a linear programming objective function for optimizing the SPC codec according to a code rate formula; setting a coefficient vector of the linear programming objective function; setting a linear inequality constraint condition according to the data flow of the EXIT graph of the SPC codec; setting linear equation constraint conditions;setting an upper bound, a lower bound and an initial value of an optimal degree distribution vector lambda of the matrix to be optimized; setting selection parameters of a linear programming function; and solving an optimal solution of lambda by adopting a linear programming function to obtain an optimized degree distribution condition of the SPC codec. According to the method, the optimal degreedistribution of the MET-LDPC code is calculated by combining the external information transfer graph, the linear programming method and the interpolation method, so that the calculation complexity isreduced, and meanwhile, the decoding performance of the optimized codeword is also ensured to be obviously improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of digital communication, and in particular relates to an optimization method of a multilateral low-density parity check code. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of modern communication technology, the theory of channel error correction coding has also achieved vigorous development. One of the most noteworthy is the Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code proposed by Gallager in 1963. Although LDPC codes have excellent error correction performance, their disadvantages such as high encoding and decoding complexity limit its development. In order to solve this problem, in 2004, T.J.Richardson proposed a new code pattern, that is, multilateral type low-density parity-check code (MET-LDPC). (T.J. Richardson and R.L. Urbane.
