Abstract

The invention discloses an event development venation diagram generation method. The method comprises: 1) for each news text in a corpus, generating vector representation of the news text and extracting entities and event implicit topics in the news text; 2) calculating entity similarity, topic similarity and vector representation similarity between the news text of the target event and each newstext in a corpus, and selecting a news set of the target event according to a calculation result; 3) taking each news text in the news set as a node in the event development context graph of the target event, calculating the similarity between the nodes, and generating an edge for connecting the two nodes if the similarity between the two nodes is greater than a set threshold, thereby generating anews text relation graph of the news set; 4) performing sub-event division on the news text relation graph to obtain a plurality of sub-event stages, and 5) generating an event development context graph of the target event according to the representative document corresponding to each sub-event stage.
