Abstract

The invention provides a method for monitoring the power consumption of PCIE equipment, a server system and a computer readable medium, and relates to the technical field of servers. The method comprises the steps: firstly obtaining the current information of all power supplies on the PCIE equipment, and then converting each part of current information into voltage information; superposing all thevoltage information to obtain total voltage information; and finally, comparing the total voltage information with a preset reference voltage, and determining the power consumption state of the PCIEequipment according to a comparison result. The method is not influenced by an I2C bus operation mode, the BMC operation processing time does not need to be spent, and whether the power consumption ofthe PCIE equipment exceeds the limit or not can be quickly determined in a mode of comparing the total voltage information with the preset reference voltage.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of servers, in particular to a method for monitoring power consumption of PCIE devices, a server system and a computer-readable medium. Background technique [0002] The existing monitoring method first monitors the current through the EFUSE current monitoring device, and then sends the monitored current to the BMC (Baseboard Management Controller, Baseboard Management Controller) via the I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit, internal integrated circuit) bus, and performs calculation and processing on the BMC. After the completion, the power consumption of the PCIE (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express, peripheral component interconnection) device can be calculated, and then it can be determined whether the power consumption exceeds the limit. It is limited by the operation mode of the I2C bus and affected by the large amount of time required for BMC operation processing , the existing monitoring methods canno...
