Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of biopharmaceutical research, and particularly relates to application of a human RAB22A gene as a target to preparation of a myocardial infarction treatment product. It is the first time for the invention to discover that the RAB22A can be applied as a potential target site to preparation of a medicine for treating myocardial infarction. The myocardial infarction can be effectively treated after the expression of the RAB22A gene is inhibited. A nucleic acid molecule or a nucleic acid construct including the nucleic acid molecule provided by the invention canspecifically inhibit and relieve myocardial cell inflammatory infiltration, reduce myocardial cell loss, inhibit myocardial cell apoptosis, inhibit myocardial fibrosis, inhibit reactive oxygen species (ROS) up-regulation,and treat ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction. A new direction is opened up for myocardial infarction treatment.
