Abstract

The invention discloses application of frontal bone mesenchymal stem cells in treatment and / or prevention of animal traumatic brain injury. The invention discovers that the frontal bone-derived MSC can improve the neuroinflammation microenvironment of an injured area, reduce activation of astrocytes and microglia, promote neuronal synaptic remodeling and promote nerve repair after TBI, so that persistent injury caused by TBI and neurological dysfunction caused by the persistent injury are relieved, and new seed cells are provided for treatment of TBI. The application has a good application prospect.
