Abstract

A connection system for modular luminaires is provided in which each luminaire is provided with at least one tapered post protruding from the back, the post having a top opening. A coupling arrangement is used to couple the two luminaires together in the form of a bridge having first and second tapered openings for fitting over the post. A spring retention clip protrudes within each opening for passing through the top opening and thereby clamping the post.
