Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a curable resin composition having excellent visible light curability and adhesiveness, and also having excellent low liquid crystal contamination properties when used as a sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide: a sealing agent for display elements, a sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements, and a vertically conducting material, each of which contains the curable resin composition; and a display element having a cured product of the sealing agent for display elements, a cured product of the sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements, or a cured product of the vertically conducting material. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide: an adhesive for electronic components, which contains the curable resin composition; and an electronic component that is bonded with a cured product of the adhesive for electronic components. The present invention is a curable resin composition containing a curable resin and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the photopolymerization initiator contains a compound represented by formula (1).
