Abstract

The present invention relates to a two-component developer, wherein the application of the electrofax, xerography etc used in the copier, printer, fax etc, including at least a magnetic toner (A) and a magnetic carrier (B), the magnetic toner (A) having complex magnetic particles coated with carbon black, and an image forming apparatus and an image forming method are provided, using the two-component developer. This can sufficiently endow the magnetic toner with charge and prevent the magnetic toner scurry to befoul the background and obtain a good image free from a banding dirt.
