Problems solved by technology

It also distorts the illumination and chromaticity of the colors in the video signal, giving poor color reproduction
The filter also reduces the maximum sensitivity of the CCD sensitive element to infrared wavelengths, because the infrared rays and the passing part of the filter cannot get 100% transmission

Embodiment Construction

[0023] refer to figure 1 and figure 2, the device comprises a monochrome camera 100 optimized for wavelengths of light in the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum by using a state-of-the-art charge-coupled device. Monochrome camera 100 includes a color-filtering (monochrome) lens 105 with mechanisms providing adjustment means for field of view 106 and focal plane 107 . Rotation of these adjustments in the plane of the camera both frames and focuses the object. The position of these adjustment means can be fixed by turning them in the corresponding orthogonal planes. The application of this particular lens is important because it offers a small zoom length compared to traditional C and CS mount lenses. This helps to produce an overall compact design. The camera device is mounted on the camera bracket 110 . This bracket makes it easy for the camera to be mounted on the camera sled 120 at the correct angle. A second camera 200 is chosen which does not require hi...

Abstract

The invention provides a dual camera monitoring and control system. The system includes a high sensitivity monochrome camera with enhanced infrared response, an array of infrared illuminators for zero ambient light monitoring, and a color camera that does not require enhancement in the infrared spectrum. The system also includes ambient light intensity perception, video signal exchange technology and energy conversion circuits. The system combines optimal monochrome imaging in low-light or no-light conditions with optimal color tinted imaging in high ambient light conditions, both for high-quality image clarity. The dual-camera feature of the system is evident to the user due to the integrated automated control of the system, which also reduces energy consumption, thus making the system suitable for wireless, remote, self-sufficient systems that operate from surrounding The environment gains energy.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to surveillance cameras. It is important for surveillance cameras to be able to record video at night or in other low visible light conditions. At night, there is little or no visible natural light sufficient to record visible light images, and providing artificial light at night or over large distances and areas is generally undesirable or infeasible in order to be able to record visible light images. Especially if turned on suddenly in response to the perception of a break-in, the artificial light may alert a burglar when the preferred goal is to register the burglar. Continuous lighting of large areas by man-made installations is very expensive and simply impossible in remote areas. Using infrared illumination, it is possible to obtain a satisfactory image of a scene at night without alerting burglars. Background technique [0002] In zero ambient light conditions, an illuminator must be used to obtain images using a...
