Embodiment Construction

[0106] According to the first aspect of the present invention, the soil additive is produced by crushing, grinding and mixing source rocks containing at least three of basalt, limestone, dolomite and clay rock.

[0107] As can be seen in Figure 1, the soil additive is a mixture in which the final product contains components of a given modal abundance.

[0108] According to the invention, the products of the various embodiments undergo a series of processing. Different products are formed by applying different combinations of processing to source rocks containing similar compositions. The different processing, especially the mixing step 17, allows the invention to form different products with the desired mineral or rock in the desired modal abundance and optimal product particle size.

[0109] The basalt, limestone, dolomite and claystone varieties described below with respect to step 13 were processed separately unless otherwise indicated in the description below.

Abstract

A soil additive produced from crushing, grinding and blending specified source rocks wherein a final product contains at least three of andesite, basalt, limestone, dolomite and claystone.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a soil treatment, in particular to a soil additive that contributes to ecological sustainable development. Background technique [0002] Human improvement of current agricultural lands and expansion of agriculture to more marginal lands can be attributed to improved and more efficient tillage, drainage, irrigation, and especially synthetic fertilizers and soil conditioners. Improved agricultural practices have led to greatly increased yields and intensification of farming, but with each harvest, large quantities of macro- and micronutrients are removed from the soil in the form of plant tissue. [0003] These macro- and micronutrient replenishments are usually accomplished by natural sedimentary processes such as floods, which take abundant igneous, volcanic, biogenic, and reprocessed sedimentary rocks from eroded valley walls and deposit them onto floodplains. Abundant flood sediments remineralize soil systems so that they su...
