Embodiment Construction

[0056] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description of the present invention, detailed descriptions of well-known functions and configurations will be omitted since they may obscure the subject matter of the present invention.

[0057] The present invention provides a method of configuring a frame by grouping multiple hops in a multi-hop relay cellular network, and a device supporting the method. In particular, in a multi-hop relay cellular network, subframes are configured as two multi-hop groups.

[0058] The following description takes the environment of a Time Division Duplex-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (TDD-OFDM) wireless communication system as an example, and it should be understood that the present invention can also be applied to any other multiple access strategy.

Abstract

An apparatus and method for configuring a subframe to support multiple links by grouping multiple hops in a multi-hop relay cellular network are provided. A BS collects information about RSs forming relay links to a destination and groups the relay links according to the collected RS information. The BS allocates different resources to the relay link groups and sends information about the allocated resources to the RSs.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to a multi-hop relay cellular network, and in particular, relates to an apparatus and method for configuring subframes by grouping multi-hops in a multi-hop relay cellular network. Background technique [0002] The most stringent requirement in the deployment of fourth generation (4G) mobile communication systems under study recently is to establish a self-configuring wireless network. A self-configuring wireless network is a wireless network configured to provide mobile communication services in an autonomous or distributed manner without the control of a central system. The 4G mobile communication system installs cells with a very small radius in order to achieve high-speed communication and accommodate a greater number of calls. In this way, it is not feasible to adopt the usual centralized wireless network design. Also, a wireless network should be constructed based on distributed control and actively handl...
