Benefits of technology

The present invention provides a new and improved fire pit device that can be used for warmth and enjoyment. Specifically, the invention is a rotatable fire pit device that includes a central pole with a plurality of legs extended radially outward, and a fuel pit disposed on an upper portion of the central pole. The fuel pit is configured to rotate relative to the central pole. The device also includes a motor assembly that actuates a rotational movement of the cylindrical belt receiver, the cylindrical wall, and the circular fuel pit, allowing the fire pit to rotate about the central pole and be moved by the caster wheels. The invention improves the user experience and provides more flexibility and customization options for the fire pit device.

Problems solved by technology

Many individuals use traditional fire pits; however, traditional fire pits are stationary and are not able to be transported.
The stationary nature of traditional fire pits forces these individuals to gather at one location to use the traditional fire pit, which may be inconvenient for many of these individuals, or difficult or impossible for others for any of a plurality of reasons, such as handicap or injury.
Many individuals may be unable to tend to a fire within the traditional fire pit, and the wood may burn unevenly as a result.
These devices are often inconvenient or difficult to use.

Abstract

A rotatable fire pit device. The rotatable fire pit device includes a cylindrical wall with apertures, a fuel pit attached to the cylindrical wall, and a central pole attached to legs having wheels to facilitate transfer of the rotatable fire pit device between locations. A motor assembly is included for slowly rotating the cylindrical wall and the fuel pit by way of a motor belt. The rotatable fire pit device is used to burn fuel more evenly in a windy environment, and to warm a space surrounding the rotatable fire pit device.

Description

CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS[0001]This application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. § 119(e) to U.S. Provisional Application No. 62 / 659,415 filed on Apr. 18, 2018. The above identified patent application is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety to provide continuity of disclosure.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0002]The present invention relates to a rotatable fire pit device.[0003]Many individuals use traditional fire pits; however, traditional fire pits are stationary and are not able to be transported. The stationary nature of traditional fire pits forces these individuals to gather at one location to use the traditional fire pit, which may be inconvenient for many of these individuals, or difficult or impossible for others for any of a plurality of reasons, such as handicap or injury. In addition, because the traditional fire pit is unable to rotate, tending a fire in the traditional fire pit is required to ensure an even burn of a fuel, such as a wood, therein....
