The invention provides energy saving sanitary coal. The coal is characterized in that the coal comprises the following raw materials in weight portion: 50 portions of raw coal, 17 to 23 portions of earth, 14 to 16 portions of fly ash, 14 to 16 portions of lime, 0.1 portion of silicate, 0.1 portion of hypermanganate and 0 to 0.1 portion of magnesia. The sanitary coal has the advantages of convenience and endurance, coal conservation, easy combustion, fast ignition, strong and stable flame, large flame, high temperature, long-period combustion, complete combustion, no smoke, no toxin, no choking and no gas poisoning; moreover, the sanitary coal can reduce pollution discharge, the emission of sulfur dioxide is reduced by more than 90 percent, and the sanitary coal can prevent diseases such as cough, asthma, lung cancer, throat cancer and the like and facilitates the protection of the atmospheric environment and human health and the improvement of living conditions of citizens; and, the sanitary coal can save energy by 60 to 75 percent, and lower cost by about 50 percent.
