Leontopodium is a genus of plants in the family Asteraceae (which also includes daisies and sunflowers). The genus is native to Europe and Asia. The fuzzy and somewhat stocky "petals" (technically, bracts) could be thought of as somewhat resembling lions' paws—hence the genus name combining léōn (lion) and pódion (foot).

The present invention relates to a hypoallergenic cosmetic composition for skin moisturization and wrinkle improvement comprising caviar extract, comprising 100 parts by weight of caviar extract; 26 to 28 parts by weight of fermented Megaleranthis saniculifolia; 14 to 20 parts by weight of Leontopodium coreanum seed oil; 5 to 6 parts by weight of glycerin; 1 to 2 parts by weight of 1,2-hexanediol; 0.05 to 0.1 parts by weight of disodium EDTA; and 0.5 to 1 part by weight of decyl glucoside. Through this, it is possible to provide a cosmetic composition that utilizes caviar extract as a key active ingredient to provide advanced effects such as moisturizing, wrinkle improvement, and low irritation, while also ensuring sufficient dispersion stability and human safety to enhance consumer satisfaction.
