The present invention is related to an UV LED curing apparatus, and more particularly, to an UV LED curing apparatus with improved housing and switch controller. The UV LED curing apparatus of the present invention is preferably provided for curing UV hardening gel applied onto the nails of multiple fingers or toes all at once and with automatic controls; the UV LED curing apparatus comprises a light reflective inner casing enclosing a curing chamber having a front opening, an outer casing detachably attached to the inner casing and an UV LED light source disposed on the inner casing and capable of providing an illumination covering a large space in the curing chamber. The automatic controls of the apparatus may be achieved by a switch controller having a photo interrupter, timer and current regulator such that the UV light from the UV LED light source is triggered to an on-state by the sensor of the photo interrupter and switched to an off-state by the timer and current regulator with reference to a preset curing time automatically. The UV LED light source is preferably to be of a wavelength between 360 nm and 460 nm. The light reflective inner casing is preferably provided as an effective UV light reflector and as a supporting substrate of the UV LED light source while being capable of transmitting heat from the UV LED light source away for further heat dissipation to the ambient by the outer casing. The outer casing is detachably attached to the inner casing and allows a greater user interaction for decorative and entertainment purposes while also being a protective and heat dissipation means.

Each notch is V-shaped, with opposite side walls which converge downwardly to a substantially pointed apex. A heating method for a band-shaped body transported in a constant conveying direction in a heating zone so as to heat it, comprises: detecting whether or not a portion of the band-shaped body is passing through the heating zone, at which portion at least one of width and thickness of the band-shaped body changes; before detecting the portion pass into the heating zone, setting a first supplied heat quantity based on dimensions of the first band-shaped body on a downstream side of the portion in the conveying direction, and supplying heat with the first supplied quantity to the band-shaped body in the heating zone; and after detecting that the portion has passed into the heating zone, setting a second supplied heat quantity based on dimensions of the second band-shaped body on an upstream side of the portion relative to the conveying direction, and supplying heat with the second supplied quantity to the band-shaped body in the heating zone, so as to adjust a temperature history of the band-shaped body so that the temperature history is approximately uniform on both upstream and downstream sides of the portion.

The apparatus comprises a double constructed drying hopper having a cylindrical main body made of a high heat conductivity material provided on its inner peripheral surface with plural fins, which define compartment walls, projecting inwardly and provided on its outer peripheral surface with a heating means surrounding the cylindrical main body. A low temperature clothes dryer having a drying chamber provides removable horizontal screens supporting clothing items and a hanging bar for hanging clothes to be dried. A timing control allows setting the time of operation of the drying cabinet. An electric heater with thermostat is provided to initially raise and maintain the air temperature within the drying chamber to at least about 90 degrees F. The dehumidifier is then operated, providing for circulation through the ducts and drying cabinet by an internal fan. The dehumidifier has an evaporator through which warm, humid air is passed, thereby cooling the air and condensing water therefrom, the water being collected in a removable container or drained through a drain hose. The fan forces the cooled, dried air through a condenser which heats the dried air for recirculation through the drying chamber by means of ducts, thereby drying the clothing therein.

A clothes drying cabinet is provided with a shaker assembly including a bar suspended in the cabinet for supporting clothes hangers. A motor is mounted adjacent the bar and has a drive shaft.
