Over-the-wire exclusion device and system for delivery

ActiveUS20080140177A1Increase stability , deliverability , and deployabilityReduce flow of fluidEar treatmentDilatorsMechanical forceThin walled
A modification to allow delivery of a two port medical flow restrictor over a guidewire, and a means to mechanically collapse the new device. A thin walled, foil-like shell, is compacted for delivery. The invention includes the device, delivery assemblies, and methods of placing, and using, the device. A device with an aneurysm lobe and an artery lobe self-aligns its waist at the neck of an aneurysm as the device shell is pressure expanded. Mechanical force collapses both the aneurysm lobe and the artery lobe, captivating the neck of the aneurysm and securing the device. The device works for aneurysms at bifurcations and aneurysms near side-branch arteries. The device, unlike endovascular coiling, excludes the weak neck of the aneurysm from circulation, while leaving the aneurysm relatively empty. Unlike stent-based exclusion, the device does not block perforator arteries. This exclusion device can also limit flow through body lumens or orifices.

Lumen-supporting stents and methods for creating lumen-supporting stents with various open/closed designs

Disclosed herein are various open / closed stent designs and methods for creating the same that can be individually adopted depending on particular treatment objectives. Specifically, the stents of the present invention are manufactured to include different open / closed configurations along their length by varying the number of crossovers, connectors or weld points between sections of the stent. Open portions contain less crossovers, connectors or weld points and are more flexible than closed portions which contain more crossovers, connectors or weld points.

Perfusion device

A vascular filter device (1) has a perfusion balloon (3) with a through-hole for blood flow. There is a distal filter (4) for trapping emboli, and the filter (4) is configured to filter an annular cross-sectional area extending from a vessel wall, while leaving an un-filtered central passageway. The filter (4) may be substantially frusto-conical in shape when deployed, and have a proximal tubular part (41) which is attached to the perfusion balloon or a support for the perfusion balloon. The filter has a retainer (5) to retain an end of the filter in an in-use position abutting a vessel wall. The retainer may comprise wires (5) or an inflated ring (8). The device may have an internal support (2, 12, 22, 96, 112) for the perfusion balloon (3, 11, 21, 95, 111). The balloon inflates and expands the inner arterial wall, and the filter captures emboli released during the procedure while leaving a channel that allows blood to flow to tissues distal to the blockage, maintaining antegrade flow. This may prevent the onset of an ischemic stroke or other perioperative neurological events.

Product producible number calculation apparatus and computer-readable recording medium

An apparatus having a processing unit for using information stored in a storage unit to calculate a producible number of each item is disclosed. The processing unit sets up a steady mode or a non-steady mode based on input information or the information stored in the storage. The processor unit operates, in the steady mode, to calculate a producible number by using a supply path stored in a supply path storage unit. In the nonsteady mode, the processor sets up a time taken for an item to be moved between hubs not being stored in the supply path storage unit, and repeatedly computes, from end-piece parts of an item configuration up to the product, a quantity of a parent item having the item as its component when this item is transferred between the hubs by use of an inventory or work-in-process quantity, thereby calculating the product producible number.

K8s-oriented user mode virtual equipment driving framework

The invention discloses a k8s-oriented user mode virtual device driving framework, which virtualizes IO (Input / Output) devices into a plurality of virtual devices sharing hardware resources by adopting an SRIOV (Single Radio Input / Output Virtualization) technology, maps IO addresses and interrupts of the virtual devices into a pad container of a pad, and runs a driving program of the virtual devices in the pad container. Other application containers in the pod access the drive program in the pause container in a memory sharing mode. The framework provides contents such as virtual equipment management, application program and driving program communication interfaces, a user only needs to compile a driving code of specific equipment under the framework, and the complexity of compiling an equipment driving program is reduced. According to the framework, a virtualization and transparent transmission mode is adopted, most functions of a device driver are transplanted into a pause containerto be achieved, the framework can be delivered together with an application program, and the isolation and deliverability of the driver and the reliability of a system are improved while the device efficiency is guaranteed.
