The invention belongs to the technical field of medical gas
engineering, and particularly relates to an
oxygen production and
gas supply device and method for an operating room and an ICU. The
oxygen production and
gas supply device comprises at least two groups of separators which are sequentially connected in series, wherein the front stage is a
pressure swing adsorption drying and purifying separator, whereas the rear stage is a
zeolite membrane separator; at least one
oxygen buffer tank, which is used for receiving oxygen output by the
zeolite membrane separator, and a flow control valve and an automatic regulating valve are arranged at the outlet end of the oxygen
buffer tank and used for controlling output enriched oxygen; a control
assembly, and related
control valves and connecting pipelines; and an interface which is used for receiving
compressed air provided by a hospital, an interface of
medical care oxygen, and an interface for outputting the oxygen to arespirator. According to the invention, the medical oxygen with the purity greater than or equal to 99.5% can be prepared; the device is free of
power equipment, wherein a front-end oxygen source is directly introduced as emergency
oxygen supply, fault safety strategy guidance is complete, and the reliability is extremely high. The device is simple to operate and can be used immediately when being powered on, and is convenient to repair.
