Abstract
This invention discloses Magnaporthe grisea resistance non-toxic gene AvrPi39 and its application. This invention provides the nucleotide sequence of Magnaporthe grisea resistance non-toxic gene AvrPi39 and the protein coded by it. This invention also relates to novel pesticide target, which is designed according to the structure and function of the gene. The gene can be used for breeding disease-resistant rice or plants through co-transduction of gene AvrPi39 and corresponding resistance gene. Gene AvrPi39 can also be used as a molecular marker for monitoring Magnaporthe grisea in fields andguiding the arrangement of disease-resistant plants.
Description
Avirulent Gene AvrPi39 of Magnaporthe grisea and Its Application technical field The invention relates to the technical field of genetic engineering, in particular to the isolation, cloning and application of a rice blast fungus avirulent gene AvrPi39. Background technique Rice blast caused by Magnaporthegrisea is one of the most devastating diseases in rice production in the world, and the fungus can also infect more than 50 kinds of grasses such as wheat and cereals. Whether a Magnaporthe grisea strain can grow on a particular variety is determined by the interaction between the product of the avirulence gene of the pathogen strain and the product of the host's disease resistance gene. Therefore, the analysis and research on the structure of non-toxic gene products is the biochemical basis for understanding the specialized interaction between pathogen races and host species, and also has important guiding significance for the prevention and control of plant diseases.
