Embodiment 1

[0078] FIG. 1 is an external view of a timepiece 1 according to this embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of a part of FIG. 1 .

[0079]The timepiece 1 according to this embodiment of the invention is a wrist watch having a movement 10 and a case member 11 housing the movement 10 . The timepiece may be a quartz watch, a mechanical watch or an electronically controlled mechanical watch. The timepiece 1 is an analog quartz watch. A dial 10A is attached to the movement 10, and a second hand 10B, a minute hand 10C, and an hour hand 10D connected to a train driven by a stepping motor as a power source are disposed approximately at the center of the dial 10A.

[0080] The timepiece 1 according to this embodiment of the invention is characterized by having a retrograde display device 100 . The display device 100 is integrated in the movement 10, and displays the date and day of the week through the reciprocating movement of the day hand 142 and the da...

Embodiment 2

[0141] Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0142] In the timepiece display device according to this embodiment of the present invention, the length of the rack engaging the pinion is greater than the length of the rack 135 on the ring bar 133 in the previous embodiment.

[0143]The surface of the timepiece 2A according to this embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG. 6 .

[0144] The timepiece 2A is a wristwatch (wristwatch) having a movement 20 as a driving device and a case member 11 accommodating the movement 20 . The timepiece may be a quartz watch, a mechanical watch or an electronically controlled mechanical watch. The timepiece 2A according to this embodiment of the present invention is an analog quartz watch. A dial 20A is attached to the movement 20, and time (hour, minute, second), day of the week, date, and hour (24-hour dial) are displayed on the dial 20A. More specifically, a second hand 10B...

Embodiment 3

[0209] Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[0210] This embodiment of the invention changes the diameter of the small day wheel 243 fitted in position A ( FIG. 9 ).

[0211] FIG. 11 is a schematic plan view of the day display device 250 in this embodiment of the present invention. The day display device 250 can be used in the timepiece 2A shown in FIG. 6 , or in the timepiece 2B shown in FIG. 10 .

[0212] The small day wheel 243 as described above is assembled at position B, or a small day wheel 245 having a diameter larger than that of the small day wheel 243 disposed at position B is provided at position A. It should be noted that two small day wheels 243 and 245 are shown in FIG. 11 for the convenience of describing this embodiment of the present invention, but only one small day wheel 243 or 245 is used in an actual timepiece. The tooth profile of the small day wheel 245 is identical to that of the small day wheel 243 .

Abstract

The invention provides a clock or watch display device, an inner core and a clock or watch. The clock or watch display device drives a week needle to do reciprocating motion with the help of a central gear, a driven week gear, a cam, a bar and a rack. The gear, the cam, the bar and the rack can be easily arranged to be in line with the effective space on a main board of the inner core so as to simplify the structure of the display device. Moreover, the cam is arranged between a rotating shaft and the rack of the bar part, compared with the situation of arranging the cam in a different position, a plurality of parts can be arranged more compactly, thus providing simple assembly.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a timepiece, a movement, and a display device for a retrograde timepiece that displays time and calendar information such as month, date, and day of the week in a fan-shaped display unit. Background technique [0002] A timepiece with a calendar display usually uses an annular rotating wheel (such as a date wheel or a day wheel) to display calendar information. Numbers 1 to 31 are printed around the outside of the rotating wheel to show the date, and words such as Sun to Sat are printed to show the day of the week. The rotating wheel is driven to continuously display calendar information through a window in the dial. [0003] Also known are such display mechanisms for retrograde timepieces in which the fan-shaped display area on the dial surface is printed with a date, day of the week or time scale and uses hands to indicate the date and time. In order for example to display the day of the week on such a retrograde cl...
