The invention relates to a distortion compensating apparatus, a wireless communication apparatus, and a distortion compensating method. The distortion compensating apparatus comprises the following units: an information measuring unit which measures a distortion component and an electric power component based on a radiation signal; a compensation coefficient calculating unit which calculates a compensation coefficient based on the distortion component and the electric power component; a signal transmitting unit which outputs a signal corrected by the compensation coefficient as a transmission signal; a signal converting unit which converts the transmission signal into a high frequency signal; an amplitude separating unit which amplifies the high frequency signal and separates a portion thereof as a signal to be fed back; a feeding-back unit which processes the separated portion and outputs the result as a feedback signal to the information measuring unit; and an electric power information extracting unit which outputs a portion of the high frequency signal as the radiation signal, extracts electric power information from the radiation signal, and directly outputs the electric power information to the information measuring unit.
