Abstract

The invention relates to a method for structuring a workflow system based on an XPDL. The structuring method comprises the following steps of: defining and analyzing a XPDL process; building an organization model; building a JMX management framework; designing a client application program; and designing system flow monitoring. Compared with the prior art, the method selects a standard XML of the XPDL as a flow modeling language, and designs and realizes a workflow engine; the method uses the extensible management framework JMX to concentratively manage and control resources and data of the system; and the method builds a client application module and a flow monitoring component on the basis, designs a flexible system user organization model, and realizes a workflow management system under the heterogeneous distributed environment at the same time. The system is based on a componentized program design idea, and has good expansibility and universality.
