This invention provides a Slurm-based bioinformatics workflow management system. The module management subsystem stores bioinformatics software commands in a database according to a predetermined format, defining them as modules. These modules can be combined into new modules through serialization or network connections, enabling the rapid construction of complex workflows. The task submission system converts these modules into corresponding task scripts. These scripts are generated in a nested manner, consisting of a main job, sub-jobs, and the smallest job unit. The scripts conform to the Slurm job scheduling system specifications and include a progress report.
