By on-line analysis of the data of a wide area measurement system (WAMS), the method can realize real-time availability analysis for the control action implemented on dispatchers and an automatic device and feeds back the analysis result to the dispatchers in time. The method can help the dispatchers to better know whether the implemented control action is beneficial to the system or not, so as to achieve the aim of closed loop control and be particularly important in large scale cascading failure.
