Embodiment Construction

[0017] With reference to the cited figures, the needle jack according to the invention, generally designated by reference numeral 1, is formed by stamping and bending a flat steel part. The jack has a shank 12 provided with a lower edge heel 3 and a movable upper part indicated generally by reference numeral 4 .

[0018] Viewed from the side, this movable upper part 4 comprises a bend 5 protruding from the edge of the handle, towards which the heel 3 is directed.

[0019] The bend 5 is formed by a first curved section 6 , a middle section 7 and a rounded step 8 .

[0020] Middle part 7 is respectively to the right relative to the plane of handle 2 (as figure 2 shown) or to the left is turned to one side, passing a rounded step 8 and ending in a substantially straight second portion 9.

[0021] The second portion 9 is parallel to the plane of the handle 2 and offset relative to this plane.

[0022] The second portion 9 ends with a tip 11 via a third inclined portion 10 incl...

Abstract

A pusher, for transferring stitches in a circular hosiery knitting machine, has a shank (2), provided with a lower edge heel (3), and an active upper portion (4) which is suitable to transfer a stitch from one needle to another adjacent needle. The active upper portion has a bend (5) which, when viewed from the side, protrudes from the edge of the shank toward which the heel is directed and is formed by a first curved portion (6), by an intermediate portion (7) and by a rounded step (8); the intermediate portion is diverted to one side with respect to the plane of the shank, and ends, through the rounded step, with a second substantially straight portion (9); the second portion is parallel to the plane of the shank but offset with respect it; the second portion ends with a tip (11) through a third oblique portion (10) which is inclined in the opposite direction with respect to the intermediate portion; the tip protrudes, with respect to the plane of the shank, on the opposite side with respect to the one toward which the intermediate portion is diverted; at the second portion there is a first bevel (12) which allows the pusher, during the descending step, not to interfere with an adjacent pusher of the same fold and in an inactive position.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a needle jack for transferring stitches in a circular hosiery machine. Background technique [0002] As we all know, in hosiery machines, the jack is the part that transfers the stitches from one needle to the other when necessary for knitting production. [0003] The manufacture of most commonly used types of needle jacks is relatively complex, since the bends and bends are difficult to manufacture. [0004] Furthermore, conventional needle jacks often break the yarn. Contents of the invention [0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a needle jack which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. [0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a needle jack which is simpler and cheaper to manufacture than conventional types of needle jacks. [0007] Another object of the present invention is to provide a needle jack which significantly reduces the possibility of breaking the yarn. [0008] T...
