The andrographolidume can remarkably inhibit liver injury induced by semen canavaliae A, the liver cell apoptosis induced by the ssemen canavaliae A and inflammatory response of liver, and can also be used for treating the liver injury induced by the semen canavaliae A. The invention firstly provides the evidence of the andrographolidume for treating the liver injury induced by the semen canavaliae A in an animal model, definitudes that the liver cell apoptosis caused by the semen canavaliae A is inhibited by inhibiting excessive active oxygen species caused by the semen canavaliae A, and prompts that the andrographolidume has the protection function on the acute liver injury in clinical.
