Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring blood circulation time of kidney by CT tracking and scanning. The time when the blood containing contrast agent appears in renal artery is observed and recorded on a CT tracking and scanning cross section image, and the time when the blood containing the contrast agent first appears in renal artery is recorded. The difference between the former time and the latter is blood circulation time of kidney. The method for measuring blood circulation time of kidney by CT tracking and scanning is noninvasive, including the steps of initially determining the positions of renal artery and renal vein on the cross section; injecting the contrast agent through the vein to display the blood flowing kidney in the image; and observing the image and respectively recording the time when the contrast agent appears in the renal artery on the cross section and the time when the contrast agent appears in the renal vein, wherein the time between the former time and the latter is the time for which blood enters the kidney from the renal artery and flows out of the kidney from the renal vein, namely the blood circulation time of kidney.
