Energy efficient sorption processes and systems

The present invention relates to novel energy efficient sorption processes and systems for cooling, dehumidifying and heating using multistage liquid desiccant regenerators, or hybrid cooling systems or adsorption cooling systems involving appropriate combinations of rotating contacting devises, adsorption modules with heat transfer passages in thermal contact with the adsorption module wall and switchable heat pipes. The sorption processes of this invention help in flexible designing of compact cooling, dehumidifing, heating systems easy operability. The adsorption module of this invention leads to lower cycle times as low as 5 minutes; makes it possible to achieve high system Coefficient of Performance (COP) up to 0.9 due to reduced thermal mass; offers high specific cooling power in the range of 50 to 750 W/kg of AC; is easy to manufacture and operates at low costs. The refrigeration cum heating system of this invention with heat pipe in thermal contact with the adsorption modules increase the heat transfer rates without increasing the thermal mass leading to increase of COP and the single or multistage pressure equalisation increases the internal regeneration of heat thereby increasing the COP, reducing the cycle time resulting in increased specific cooling power (SCP), reducing the required quantity of adsorbent/refrigerant making the module compact and cost effective.

High molecule bonding adriamycin medicine, nano capsule and preparation thereof

The invention provides a macromolecule bonding adriamycin medicine, a nanometer capsule and a preparation method thereof. The bonding medicine is bonded by a block copolymer of poly ethylene glycol-polylactic acid and adriamycin. Firstly, the block copolymer of poly ethylene glycol-polylactic acid is acquired by ring-opening polymerization of aliphatic cyclic esters with poly ethylene glycol, solvent and catalyst being in existence; then a carboxyl end group is transformed by a hydroxyl-terminated; and then with a condensing agent being in existence, the carboxyl end group carries out amidation reaction with the adriamycin; thus acquiring the macromolecule adriamycin bonding medicine. The bonding medicine has amphiphilic property, thus being able to self assembly to prepare the nanometer capsule with a core-shell structure in the water solution. The adriamycin is wrapped inside the capsule to play a role of isolation and protection, which overcomes the deficiencies of short circulation time in vivo, large dosage and severe allergic reaction existing in the current adriamycin preparation. In addition, the nanometer particles are expected to congregate in the blood circulation through the so-called 'enhanced infiltration and retention effect', so as to improve the targeting action of the adriamycin on the tumor location.

The invention discloses an anodic aluminum oxide template with three-dimensional gradual-changed hole array nanostructure and a preparation method of the anodic aluminum oxide template. The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out high-strength oxidation process on an aluminum sheet in the acidic electrolyte to form a porous aluminum oxide layer, then removing the porous aluminum oxide layer and forming nanometer concave pattern on the surface of the aluminum sheet; oxidizing the aluminum sheet in the acidic electrolyte again to perform hole expanding process in the acidic electrolyte; and repeating the processes, adjusting at least one condition in the electrolyte composition, the oxidation voltage, the oxidation time and the hole expanding time, and circulation times to obtain the target product. By using the preparation method in the invention, the industrialized and quick production of the three-dimensional gradual-changed hole array nanostructure with low cost is realized, and the size of the basic construction unit of the product prepared is diminished continuously or discontinuously from top to bottom. The central axis of the product is vertical to the base plane, the hole pitch can be adjusted in the range of 50 nm to 1200 nm, and the profile of hole channel can be regulated accurately. The invention has a wide application prospect in the development of various functional nanomaterials.
