The invention relates to solvent-borne one-pack clearcoat material, characterized in that it comprises i.) one or more hydroxy functional polymers (A), at least one of which is a poly(meth)acrylate (A1), possessing a) a glass transition temperature below -15 °C as determined by differential scanning calorimetry; b) a hydroxyl value in the range from 130 mg KOH / g to 300 mg KOH / g; and c) a weight-average molecular weight determined by gel permeation chromatography using a polystyrene standard; ii.) one or more crosslinking agents (B), at least one of which is a melamine-formaldehyde resin possessing methoxymethyl groups (B1); and iii.) a catalyst system (C) comprising one or more amine-blocked sulfonic acids (C1); and one or more phosphoric acid catalysts (C2). The invention further related to a multilayer coating system comprising a clearcoat layer formed from said clearcoat material, a method of preparing such multilayer coating system and a thus coated substrate, as well as the use of the solvent-borne one-pack clearcoat material for coating uncoated or precoated substrates, preferably vehicle bodies or parts thereof in OEM or repair coating.

One component (1K) composition based on epoxide compounds

An one component (1K) composition comprising: a) thermally-expandable thermoplastic microspheres; b) at least one epoxide compound; c) at least one compound which provides at least two amine hydrogens reactive toward epoxide groups; and, d) at least one accelerator, wherein the composition is characterized by a molar ratio of epoxide-reactive groups to epoxide groups from 0.6:1 to 1.2:1, preferably from 0.95: 1 to 1.1:1. The present disclosure envisages the use of this one component (1K) composition in providing an adhesive within a bonded structure upon curing of said composition under conditions in which the constituent microspheres retain their capacity to thermally expand.

High-stability single-component epoxy resin adhesive capable of being processed at normal temperature

The invention relates to the technical field of adhesives, and discloses a normal-temperature processing high-stability single-component epoxy resin adhesive which comprises the following components in parts by mass (based on the total amount of all epoxy group-containing components being 100 parts): a, 70-90 parts of a polyepoxy compound; b, 10 to 30 parts of glycidyl acrylate or glycidyl methacrylate; c, 5 to 15 parts of an acrylic ester reactive diluent; and d, an epoxy resin latent curing agent and an accelerator: 8-10 parts of the curing agent and 2-6 parts of the accelerator. According to the high-stability single-component epoxy resin adhesive capable of being processed at normal temperature, through the low viscosity characteristics of the component b and the component c, a resin system can be stirred and ground at normal temperature without heating, the problem that a latent curing agent is activated in advance due to high temperature in a traditional process is solved, and a prepolymer prepared in the early stage is stable in viscosity and high in stability. The curing agent in the system is in a latent state, so that the storage periods of the adhesive and the prepreg are effectively prolonged, and gel failure is not easy to occur.

Single-component polyurethane foam joint mixture and preparation method thereof

The invention provides a single-component polyurethane foam joint mixture which comprises the following raw materials: a white material, a black material and an aerosol propellant, the white material comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 20-40% of polyether polyol, 2-10% of a disulfide bond-containing hydroxyl compound, 2-10% of other hydroxyl and amino compounds, 35-60% of chlorinated paraffin, 1.5-5% of a foam stabilizer, 0.5-2% of a catalyst, 1-5% of an anti-ultraviolet antioxidant and 3-5% of a flame retardant; the black material is isocyanate and comprises PAPI or MDI; the aerosol propellant comprises a mixture of dimethyl ether and propane and butane. The invention further provides a preparation method of the single-component polyurethane foam joint mixture. The preparation method comprises the steps of white material preparation, filling and packaging, curing and the like. The material has excellent toughness and fatigue resistance, and meets the construction requirements of multiple scenes such as severe cold areas and indoor low temperature. The flame-retardant efficiency is remarkably improved, and no negative influence is generated on the foaming ratio, bonding strength and other core properties of foam.
