155 results about "Fluorocarbon" patented technology

Fluorocarbons, sometimes referred to as perfluorocarbons or PFCs, are, strictly speaking, organofluorine compounds with the formula CₓFy, i.e. they contain only carbon and fluorine, though the terminology is not strictly followed. Compounds with the prefix perfluoro- are hydrocarbons, including those with heteroatoms, wherein all C-H bonds have been replaced by C-F bonds. Fluorocarbons can be perfluoroalkanes, fluoroalkenes and fluoroalkynes and perfluoroaromatic compounds. Fluorocarbons and their derivatives are used as fluoropolymers, refrigerants, solvents, and anesthetics.

PFAS chemical destruction process by alkoxides in water

PCT designated stageWO2026148097A1Carbon monofluorideWaste product
A system and method for chemically destroying, degrading and incinerating a fluorocarbon or fluorinated material, such as perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), with reduced emissions of gaseous PFC is provided. The method includes mixing the fluorinated material with an aqueous alkoxide base in a batch reactor to form a suspension. The PFAS can be provided by AFFF. The reaction mixture is heated to a temperature ranging from about 25ºC to about 400ºC for about 0.5 hours to about 240 hours to defluorinated fluorocarbons in the PFAS and produce a defluorinated waste product. More specifically, the method converts organic fluorine present in the PFAS to inorganic fluoride. Thus, the defluorinated waste product can be incinerated with reduced emissions of harmful gaseous PFCs.

A vitrified microsphere hybrid heat insulation polyester chip and a preparation method and application thereof

This invention provides a glass-microsphere hybrid heat-insulating polyester chip, its preparation method, and its application. The glass-microsphere hybrid heat-insulating polyester chip is obtained by melt extrusion granulation after blending polyester chips with hollow glass microspheres. The surface coating layer of the hollow glass microspheres comprises the following raw materials in weight percentages: 30-50% fluorinated resin prepolymer, 2-8% crosslinking agent, 0.5-2% initiator, and the balance solvent. This invention introduces fluorinated resin into the coating layer on the surface of the hollow glass microspheres. Due to the excellent compatibility between the fluorosilicone or fluorocarbon segments in the fluorinated resin and the polyester matrix, and the introduction of the crosslinking agent to form a three-dimensional network structure, the interfacial bonding force between the coating layer and the polyester matrix is enhanced, preventing microsphere detachment during spinning, and imparting hydrophobicity to the hollow glass microspheres, resulting in self-cleaning properties after spinning.

A type of fluorocarbon packaging paper

This utility model discloses a fluorocarbon-free packaging paper. The utility model includes a paper base layer: a first waterproof layer is disposed on the top of the paper base layer, and a second waterproof layer is disposed on the bottom of the paper base layer. A nylon mesh and a degradation layer are disposed on the top of the first waterproof layer. A durable superhydrophobic perfluoroalkoxy ethyl vinyl ether copolymer coating and methods of making and using the same

PendingCN122356898AVinyl etherPolymer science
This invention discloses a durable superhydrophobic PFA coating, its preparation method, and its application. Belonging to the field of coating processing and functional material surface modification technology, it grafts γ-aminopropyl groups onto the surface of nanoparticles using a silane coupling agent KH550. These γ-aminopropyl groups are transformed into positively charged ammonium ions in an acidic environment. The repulsion between these ions with the same charge inhibits the aggregation of homogeneous particles, thus fundamentally solving the problem of easy detachment of nanoparticles within the coating. Furthermore, by grafting perfluorinated long chains onto the nanoparticle surface using fluorosilanes, surface energy is reduced, improving the hydrophobicity of the particles. Simultaneously, the similarity and similarity solubility between the long fluorocarbon chains and the PFA coating eliminate interfacial cracks, making it difficult for nanoparticles to peel off when the surface is subjected to friction. The coating prepared by this invention can provide excellent droplet bounce enhancement and droplet adhesion inhibition properties, and is expected to be applied in the field of low-temperature anti-icing.
