The colorant comprises the following raw materials on a weight basis: 76-84% of propylene glycol ether environmentally friendly solvents, 8-12% of organic pigments or carbon black pigments, 4-6% of high molecular unsaturated polycarboxylic acid, 4-6% of polyurethane modified high molecular compounds. The method for preparing the colorant comprises the following steps: adding the propylene glycol ether solvent into a stirred tank; adding the high molecular unsaturated polycarboxylic acid, stirring the mixture and mixing well; adding the pigment, stirring the mixture and mixing well; adding the polyurethane modified high molecular compound, stirring the mixture and disperse for proper time; adding the materials into a grinder for ultrafine grinding until the granularity of pigment granules meets nanometer specification size, stopping grinding, and discharging.
