Problems solved by technology

[0008] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method and system for enhancing the color image of cotton pseudo-heterosexual fiber under uneven illumination, and to enhance the color image of cotton pseudo-heterosexual fiber collected by the machine vision platform, so as to solve the problem based on machine vision. The problem of false foreign fiber identification in cotton foreign fiber detection is convenient for subsequent segmentation and identification

Embodiment 1

[0083] Such as figure 1 As shown, a cotton pseudo-heterosexual fiber color image enhancement method under uneven illumination includes the following steps:

[0084] S1: Read in the original cotton pseudo-heterosexual fiber color image.

[0085] S2: Transform the original colored cotton pseudo-heterosexual fiber image from RGB space to HSI space.

[0086] Because the HSI model separates the brightness component from the color information carried in a color image, it can achieve rapid image enhancement while keeping the color of cotton pseudo-foreign fibers unchanged.

[0087] There are multiple ways to convert an RGB image into an HSI image. In this embodiment, the conversion formula of each component is as follows:

[0088]

[0089] θ = arccos { 1 2 [ ...

Embodiment 2

[0146] Such as Figure 5 As shown, a system for realizing the cotton pseudo-heterosexual fiber color image enhancement method under the above-mentioned uneven illumination includes:

[0147] The image reading module is used to read in the original cotton pseudo foreign fiber color image;

[0148] The first image conversion module is used to convert the original color cotton pseudo foreign fiber image read by the image reading module from RGB space to HSI space;

[0149] An image enhancement module, configured to enhance the I component of the HSI color image converted by the first image conversion module;

[0150] An image enhancement post-processing module, configured to perform enhancement post-processing on the image enhanced by the image enhancement module;

[0151] The second image conversion module is used to convert the HSI image processed by the image enhancement post-processing module back to RGB space.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for enhancing color images of cotton pseudo foreign fibers under non-uniform illumination. The method comprises the following steps of: 1, reading original color images of the cotton pseudo foreign fibers in; 2, converting the original color images of the cotton pseudo foreign fibers from an RGB (red, green and blue) space to an HSI (hue, saturation and intensity) space; 3, enhancing components I of the converted HSI color images; 4, performing enhancement post-processing on the images enhanced by the step 3; and 5, converting the HSI images processed by the step 4 back to the RGB space. In addition, the invention also discloses a system for implementing the method. The system comprises an image reading module, a first image conversion module, an image enhancement module, an image enhancement post-processing module and a second image conversion module which are used for realizing the five steps respectively. By utilizing the method and system disclosed by the invention, the color images of the cotton pseudo foreign fibers can be effectively enhanced, so that the subsequent segmentation and identification of foreign fibers and the pseudo foreign fibers can be conveniently realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of image processing, in particular to a method and system for enhancing color images of cotton pseudo-heterosexual fibers under uneven illumination. Background technique [0002] Pseudo-foreign fibers in cotton refer to some non-fibrous soft and hard impurities that are mixed into cotton during the process of planting, picking, and tanning, and are difficult to distinguish from foreign fibers in size, color, and shape, mainly including: cotton leaves , cottonseed shavings, cotton stalks, grass leaves, etc. The content of pseudo-foreign fibers in lint is more than that of foreign fibers, and its imaging is difficult to distinguish from foreign fibers in terms of color, shape, etc., which has a great impact on the detection and accurate measurement of cotton foreign fibers based on machine vision, so some images need to be passed Processing and machine vision techniques to distinguish pseudo-foreign fibers fr...
