Abstract

The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine formula for treating chronic proctitis. Proctitis is caused by careless diets, such as excessive drinking and overeating of strong excitant food, inappropriate long-term taking of weight losing medicament, excessive corrosive medicament in anus and bacteria infection. A light patient only has mucosa inflammation, and a severe patient has inflammations involving submucosa, muscular layer even rectum surrounding tissues; sometimes, part of the rectum mucosa is inflammatory, and sometimes the whole rectum mucosa or even colon mucosa are inflammatory. Proctitis is always seen in weak physique and resistance and after diseases of heart, lung, liver and gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract infection, infectious disease; and constipation, diarrhoea, hemorrhoid, anorectal prolapse, anal fistula, polyposis, anorectal stenosis, rectum tumour, rectum damage and foreign matter all can cause proctitis. Severe patients need to be treated immediately. Prior proctitis treatment method is no more than a final operation, which causes huge pains in patient body and energy.
