Embodiment Construction

[0018] Embodiments of the present invention: it comprises the following steps,

[0019] The first step is to select the chemical reagents used to prepare the nutrient solution and measure the δ of the nitrate and ammonium salts used in the culture solution 15 N value, with δ 15 Nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen with N difference exceeding 10‰ to prepare nutrient solution.

[0020] The second step is to carry out hydroponic cultivation of the investigated plants, and the hydroponic nutrient solution uses the above-mentioned known δ 15 It is prepared with nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen with a difference of N exceeding 10‰.

[0021] The third step is to measure the net photosynthetic rate (Pn), leaf nitrogen content (Cn) and δ of the third fully expanded leaf of the investigated plant after the plant has more than 5 true leaves. 15 N value.

[0022] In the fourth step, the δ of the above investigated plant leaves 15 N value as δ T , the ammonium nitrogen re...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for determining the ability of a plant on using nitrate, which comprises the following steps of: 1) preparing nutrient solution by using stable nitrogen isotopes to form delta 15N nitric nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen; 2) carrying out water planting to the investigated plant with the nutrient solution; 3) respectively determining the net photosynthetic rate of the third fully-expanded leaf of the investigated plant, the nitrogen content of the leaf and the delta 15N value of the third fully-expanded leaf; 4) inputting the delta 15N value of the leaf of the investigated plant, the delta 15N value of the plant leaf coming from the end member of the ammonium nitrogen and the delta 15N value of the plant leaf coming from the end member of the nitric nitrogen which are determined at the previous step into a two-end-member model to figure out the proportional share accounted for by nitrates used by the investigated plant in inorganic nitrogen sources; and 5) calculating the ability of the plant on using the nitrate by using the net photosynthetic rate of the third fully-expanded leaf of the investigated plant, the nitrogen content of the leaf and the proportional share accounted for by the nitrates used by the plant in the inorganic nitrogen sources.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for measuring the ability of plants to utilize nitrate, belonging to the fields of crop cultivation and ecological environment management. Background technique [0002] Plants can not only use ammonium nitrogen as inorganic nitrogen source but also nitrate as inorganic nitrogen source. Most plants can absorb nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen sources, but some plants have different preferences for different types of inorganic nitrogen sources, so people divide plants into ammonium-loving plants and nitrate-loving plants. According to the specificity of nitrate-loving plants, nitro-loving plants are further divided into facultative nitro-loving plants and obligate nitro-loving plants. The same plant responds differently to different nitrogen sources, and different plants respond differently to the same nitrogen source. Different environments are favorable for plants to absorb and utilize different types of nitroge...
