Method for simplifying physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) power control in a DSP and an apparatus thereof are disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: 1. generating two modulation tables corresponding to a PA and a PB, and respectively performing PA and PB look-up table modulation to data which needs to be modulated; 2. respectively taking the data of the modulated PA and PB according to a precoding matrix; 3. according to whether there is a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol in which a mapped resource element (RE) is located, taking the data to be mapped in a parameter list corresponding to the PA and the PB. The power control method provided in the invention is simple. Computation quantity is small. Realization time is shortened. Using the method is convenient for the DSP to realize. Power control operation of the PDSCH in the DSP can be realized and a signal after being power controlled is performed mapping.
