Abstract

The system for processing multimedia information of the sensor network based on the OMAP is characterized by comprising an ARM (Advanced RISC Microprocessor) and a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) of the OMAP, wherein the ARM is mainly used for controlling the whole system; the DSP is mainly used for processing the multimedia information; and the ARM communicates with the inner part of the DSP through sharing the RAM; a sensor information module, a video information module and an audio information module which are connected with the DSP processor under the control of the ARM microprocessor; and an intermediate- and high-speed transmission interface module, a serial port module, a power management module, a GPS (Global Position System) module, a touch screen module, an upper computer and a WIFI (Wireless Fidelity) module which are connected with the ARM.
