The method is characterized in that a fingerprint technique is adopted to identify a specific file from the redundant backup of the whole enterprise, so that the transmission and storage of redundant data are not required, and the quantity of data transmitted on a wide area network is greatly reduced. The method comprises the following steps of: only installing lightweight agent software for a small-size remote branch structure; for a large-middle-size remote branch structure, distributing a storage pool which consists of a wave server and a storage array and is used for storing the data of the branch structure; distributing a large-size storage pool in a headquarter backup center; carrying out global repeated data deletion on the data of the remote branch structure and then transmitting to the headquarter backup center through the wide area network; transmitting the data of the backup center to a remote disaster tolerance center through a broadband optimization mode so as to achieve the remote concentrated backup and the remote disaster tolerance of enterprise data at the wide area network environment; and locally implementing global unique file and field section identification by the lightweight agent software installed on a client. According to the invention, increment data just need to be transmitted on the network, so that the backup broadband is reduced by 50% or above.
