Abstract

The invention discloses a method rapidly identifying a cucumber breeding material with heat resistance and moisture resistance without damaging a seedling stage, which comprises the following steps carried out in a manual simulation environment with daytime/night=12hr/12hr, daytime temperature of 35 DEG C, night temperature of 25 DEG C, daytime humidity of 80%, night humidity of 100% and daytime illumination intensity of 40,000lux: (1) carrying out first screening on the seventh day after cucumber sowing, and selecting seedlings with the length of hypocotyls not exceeding 4cm; (2) on the ninth day after sowing, selecting the seedlings where first main leaves have the sizes not exceeding 4*5cm and the main leaves and edges of cotyledons are free of thermal burn; and (3) respectively inoculating plasmopara viticola and zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV) on the seedlings selected in the step (2) at the period of a third main leaf.
