The invention discloses a method rapidly identifying a cucumber breeding material with 
heat resistance and 
moisture resistance without damaging a 
seedling stage, which comprises the following steps carried out in a manual 
simulation environment with 
daytime / night=12hr / 12hr, 
daytime temperature of 35 DEG C, night temperature of 25 DEG C, 
daytime humidity of 80%, night 
humidity of 100% and daytime illumination intensity of 40,000
lux: (1) carrying out first screening on the seventh day after cucumber 
sowing, and selecting seedlings with the length of hypocotyls not exceeding 4cm; (2) on the ninth day after 
sowing, selecting the seedlings where first main leaves have the sizes not exceeding 4*5cm and the main leaves and edges of cotyledons are free of 
thermal burn; and (3) respectively inoculating 
plasmopara viticola and zucchini yellow 
mosaic virus (ZYMV) on the seedlings selected in the step (2) at the period of a third main leaf. The seedlings having 
heat resistance and 
moisture resistance to the 
plasmopara viticola and the ZYMV are the cucumber breeding material with the 
heat resistance and the 
moisture resistance. The method rapidly identifying the cucumber breeding material with the heat resistance and the 
moisture resistance without damaging the 
seedling stage causes no damage to the seedlings, can identify the cucumber breeding material with the heat resistance and the 
moisture resistance through three simple morphological characteristic indexes and is learned and operated easily. Besides, the method is good in relevance and high in accuracy rate.
