The control system comprises a plurality of line controllers and a plurality of drive controllers which are connected through networks, wherein each drive controller is connected with a direct-current brushless motor and an air conditioning part; each line controller is used for setting parameters and sending a line controller instruction to the selected drive controller; each drive controller is used for converting alternating current into direct current, controlling the running states of the direct-current brushless motor and the air conditioning part according to the line controller instruction, and feeding the running state information to each line controller; and the direct-current brushless motor drives the fan of the unit to run. The control method comprises the steps as follows: setting the machine type parameter and the user parameter of the fan coil unit in each line controller; sending the instruction to the selected drive controller; controlling the running states of the direct-current brushless motor and the air conditioning part according to the instruction by each drive controller; feeding the running state information to each line controller by each drive controller; and adjusting the instruction according to the running state information by each line controller.
