A fan coil unit (FCU), also known as a Vertical Fan Coil-Unit (VFC), is a simple device consisting of a heating and/or cooling heat exchanger or 'coil' and fan. It is part of an HVAC system found in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. A fan coil unit is a diverse device sometimes using ductwork, and is used to control the temperature in the space where it is installed, or serve multiple spaces. It is controlled either by a manual on/off switch or by a thermostat, which controls the throughput of water to the heat exchanger using a control valve and/or the fan speed.

The low-temperature refrigeration air conditioner comprises a wind speed control deviceof an outdoor unit fan. The wind speed fan control device comprises a temperature detection unit, a fan control unit and the outdoor unit fan, wherein the temperature detection unit detects the temperature of a condenser of the air conditioner so as to obtain a simulated condensation temperature; the fan control unit generates control signals of the rotation speed change and on-off of the fan according to the simulated condensation temperature; and the outdoor unit fan responds to the control signals of the fan control unit and generates corresponding outdoor unit wind speed. The method for controlling the wind speed of the low-temperature refrigeration air conditioner controls the rotation speed change and on-off of the fan by simulating the condensation temperature of the condenser so as to provide different wind speeds for an outdoor unit. Because of simulating a pressure signal by detecting a temperature signal, the air conditioner and the method avoid direct contact between a wind speed control system and a refrigerant system so as to avoid leakage.

Method and device for feedback control of air quantity of central air conditioner

The invention discloses a method and a device for feedback control of the air quantity of a central air conditioner, which relates to a control technique for the central air conditioner. An existing air conditioner has an overlarge air quantity, wastes energy sources, blows hot and cold in turn and has a poor indoor comfort level. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) performing detection, namely detecting the air quantity at an outlet of a fan coil unit by a air quantity detection device, and measuring the indoor temperature by a temperature detection device; 2) performing air quantity calculation, namely, comparing the actual temperature with a set temperature to obtain the difference value of the actual temperature and the set temperature, and calculating the needed air quantity according to the temperature difference value; 3) performing air quantity compensation, namely, comparing the actual air quantity with the needed air quantity to obtain the difference value of the actual air quantity and the needed air quantity, calculating the rotating speed of a fan motor according to the air quantity difference value, and compensating the air quantity; and 4) performing regulation, namely performing the regulation according to the calculated rotating speed of the fan motor, and returning to the step 1) for circulation. The method and the device use a PI regulating unit to regulate the rotating speed of the motor so as to regulate the output air quantity, realize the double closed-loop control of the temperature and the air quantity, and achieve the effects of improving the comfort level and saving energy.
