The method comprises the steps: dividing a region on a GIS map distributed with the transmission line into a plurality of grid regions; acquiring location information of a transmission line tower in each of the grid regions, calculating and storing moving direction of the transmission line between the two towers; acquiring air speed information and air direction information in each of the grid regions from a public network; judging whether each of the towers has risk according to the acquired information; and launching the early warning information according to the result of risk judgment. In comparison with the prior art, the air speed early warning information processing method of the transmission line based on the geographic information system is high in accuracy of early warning and is capable of effectively improving the operation safety of the transmission line.
