9 results about "Moraine" patented technology

A moraine is any glacially formed accumulation of unconsolidated glacial debris (regolith and rock) that occurs in both currently and formerly glaciated regions on Earth (i.e. a past glacial maximum), through geomorphological processes. Moraines are formed from debris previously carried along by a glacier, and normally consist of somewhat rounded particles ranging in size from large boulders to minute glacial flour. Lateral moraines are formed at the side of the ice flow and terminal moraines at the foot, marking the maximum advance of the glacier. Other types of moraine include ground moraines (till-covered areas with irregular topography) and medial moraines (moraines formed where two glaciers meet).

Thermal-fluid-solid multi-field coupling numerical simulation method, medium and equipment for moraine soil in alpine region

The invention discloses a thermal-fluid-solid multi-field coupling numerical simulation method for moraine soil in an alpine region, which is characterized in that on the basis of a lattice Boltzmann method, a unified solution framework of a fluid seepage field and a temperature field is constructed, and synchronous calculation of fluid momentum transportation and heat transmission is realized through collision and migration processes of discrete distribution functions. An enthalpy value is introduced as an intermediate variable for describing a phase change process, and ice-water phase change is uniformly brought into an energy conservation framework, so that physical deviation caused by purely based on a temperature threshold criterion is avoided. Fluid seepage, heat transfer, ice-water phase change and solid particle movement behaviors can be uniformly described on the particle scale, and the limitation of solid boundary static assumption on phase change simulation precision in a traditional method is avoided. By introducing an equivalent melting size calculation mode based on average heat transfer, geometric evolution of ice particles in the melting process can be stably and effectively achieved, and a feasible implementation path is provided for phase change simulation under a complex particle system.

Multi-modal remote sensing data-based surface moraine glacier identification method

A surface moraine glacier identification method based on multi-modal remote sensing data relates to the technical field of data processing, breaks through the bottleneck of traditional single optical remote sensing, and constructs a multi-dimensional feature space by introducing DEM and SAR data. Through the three-branch independent encoder, the network can autonomously learn terrain priori and geometric features, the ability of distinguishing surface moraine type glaciers is remarkably improved, and the method has obvious technical perspectiveness and practicability. According to the identification method, a two-stage cross-modal fusion strategy is innovatively introduced, and surface feature interaction is realized by preferentially injecting topographic constraints, so that the calculation complexity is reduced, and the physical rationality of fusion is ensured. Meanwhile, a cross selective state space model fusion mechanism is adopted, nonlinear semantic alignment between modes is achieved through cross reading and state space recursion, and deep dependency is efficiently captured with linear complexity. The identification method has remarkable advantages in the aspects of identification precision, calculation efficiency and applicability.
