Abstract

The invention relates to an insecticidal composition containing thifluzamide and captan and applications thereof. The insecticidal composition comprises active components of the thifluzamide and the captan. The weight ratio of the thifluzamide and the captan is in a range of 1:100 to 100:1. The active components of the thifluzamide and the captan account for 5% to 90% of the composition by weight. The insecticidal composition containing the thifluzamide and the captan is applied to prevention and treatment of germs of cereals, fruits, vegetables and commercial crops. The thifluzamide and the captan are composited, and the composition has a synergistic interaction effect and can treat both fungi and bacteriosis in soil. One pesticide has multiple purposes, the disease spectrum prevention is broadened, the usage amount of the captan is reduced, and the usage is safe. The insecticidal composition is used for treating soil or soaking (dressing) seeds, and accordingly, seed rot and root rot caused by soil diseases can be prevented, full stands are guaranteed, diseases at seedling stages are reduced, and the effect is good.
