[0016] Flue-cured tobacco intercropping experiment

[0017] Test site: Impression Tobacco Village, Shilin County, Yunnan Province

[0018] The experiment was divided into two groups: flue-cured tobacco single cropping area; flue-cured tobacco and geranium intercropping area. The soil and terrain conditions of the two groups of test sites are similar, with an area of about 1 mu.

[0019] (1) Flue-cured tobacco monoculture area

[0020] Tobacco seedlings were transplanted in mid-May, and a row of flue-cured tobacco was planted in each ridge. The width of the ridge was 1.2m, and the distance between plants was 0.5m. No pesticide was applied, and fertilization was carried out according to conventional management methods.

[0021] (2) Intercropping area of flue-cured tobacco and geranium

[0022] Geranium geranium is transplanted in mid-April, and the tobacco seedlings are transplanted 30 days later. Plant according to the "1+1" pattern, and plant a row of geraniums, and th...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for controlling pest and disease damage of flue-cured tobacco by using pelargonium graveolens. By changing a single cultivation method of the flue-cured tobacco, the flue-cured tobacco is transplanted in 30 days after transplanting of the pelargonium graveolens, and one row of pelargonium graveolenses are planted for every one row of flue-cure tobaccos. By using the growth habit difference of the pelargonium graveolens and the flue-cured tobacco, the pelargonium graveolens has special aromatic odor, the volatile component of the pelargonium graveolens has a sterilization effect and can repel the pest and disease damage, the pest and disease damage of the pelargonium graveolens is less, and thus, the pest and disease damage incidence of the flue-cured tobacco is reduced. According to the method, various pests and disease damages of the flue-cured tobacco can be controlled through interplanting of the pelargonium graveolens and the flue-cured tobacco, the using amount of a pesticide is reduced, and the aims of keeping ecological balance and reducing the pest control cost are fulfilled.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of prevention and control of flue-cured tobacco diseases and insect pests, and in particular relates to a method for controlling flue-cured tobacco diseases and insect pests by using geranium geranium. Background technique [0002] Flue-cured tobacco is one of the important economic crops in our country. In the production process of flue-cured tobacco, tobacco diseases and insect pests are common problems affecting its growth. Chemical pesticides are the most commonly used methods in production practice. However, with the promotion of organic tobacco planting, no pesticides are required in the production process of flue-cured tobacco. Therefore, how to reduce the impact of diseases and insect pests on flue-cured tobacco without using pesticides is a key issue. Problems we need to solve. [0003] Geranium geranium, also known as mosquito repellent grass, is a plant of the genus Geranium in the family Geraniu...
