Abstract

The method comprises the following steps that all service of a platform management node is deployed on each physical machine of the platform, wherein each physical machine starts the distributed service; the distributed service selects one physical machine in the platform as an administrator and the other physical machines as labors, the administrator allocates service for the labors, and the labors start the allocated service and send a service state and the starting position of the service to the administrator; the administrator receives and updates the service state and the position information of the starting service, and monitors the running states of the labors; and if one physical machine is in downtime, the distributed service selects other physical machines to start all service of the physical machine in downtime. Through the method, the single-point-of-failure of the Ovirt platform is avoided; and the uninterrupted service of the Ovirt virtual management platform can be guaranteed.
