Abstract

The invention discloses a switch membrane and a keyboard containing the same. The switch membrane includes a plurality of key switches. Each key switch is corresponding to each of keycaps arranged above the key switch. Each of the key switches comprises an upper membrane circuit layer, a lower membrane circuit layer and a plurality of isolating columns. The upper membrane circuit layer comprises a plurality of top electrodes. The lower membrane circuit layer comprises a plurality of bottom electrodes. The isolating columns are arranged between the upper membrane circuit layer and the lower membrane circuit layer, so that a preset distance is preserved between the top electrodes and the bottom electrodes and the top electrodes and the bottom electrodes are not communicated with each other. When the keycaps are pressed down and the upper membrane circuit layer is deformed to extend out of the preset distance, the top electrodes and the bottom electrodes are contacted with each other at one cross point projected by at least one top electrode and one bottom electrode among cross points projected by a plurality of the top electrodes and the bottom electrodes, and the key switches are switched on. The switch film is provided with a plurality of electric-on points, so that key with the switch membrane can be truly triggered.
