Abstract

The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition used for treating diabetes, and a preparation method thereof. The pharmaceutical composition comprises following raw materials, by weight, 2 to 5 parts of berberis, 3 to 5 parts of ammoniac, 1 to 4 parts of spiraea alpine, 3 to 8 parts of lepisorus clathratus ching, and 1 to 3 parts of lasurite. The preparation method comprises following steps: the raw materials above are smashed, and sieved using 80 to 200 meshes sieves; and an obtained mixture is made into pills, or the pharmaceutical composition is obtained via extraction of the obtained mixture. The pharmaceutical composition possesses excellent application values on diabetes.
