example 1

[0047] Example 1. Female patient A. The T-score for BMD decreased from -2.1 to -2.3SD. According to the WHO standard, it was diagnosed as grade three osteopenia. However, the trabecular density of this patient's ulna was 2х4 mm. This is the main indicator of the 2 indicators - osteoporosis characteristics ( figure 1 ).

example 2

[0048] Example 2. The BMD of female patient B conforms to grade II osteopenia (-1.8SD). However, there are demineralized parts in the trabeculae, which we call cavities. This is not osteopenia, but osteoporosis ( figure 2 ).

[0049] It is not known at the technical level that the porous structure of the bone and the negative dynamics of BMD are of great significance for the diagnosis of osteoporosis. However, all modern bone measurement methods "do not see" porosity, because only BMD can be measured, which is a major shortcoming of the instrument. In order to visualize the porosity in the bone it was necessary to create a bone densitometer that meets specific conditions. We make the studied extremities (hands, feet) bones need to be surrounded by distilled water in a special incubator. DTX-100 bone densitometer can measure BMD and porosity at the same time. If the organ under study is not surrounded by distilled water but air, then the porosity does not exist. Our exper...

Abstract

The method for diagnosing osteoporosis, using a method for determining the dynamics of closure of cavities to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of various bone protectors, relates to the field of medicine, for the diagnosis of osteoporosis and measurement of the effectiveness of therapeutic and prophylactic treatment of conditions associated with osteoporosis. The method is characterised by laboratory, histological and radiological methods of examination (standard radiography) and by measuring bone mineral density using the radiological absorptive method on osteometers, into which an additional diagnostic criterion is introduced, namely the measurement of cavities by specially adjusting them to measure cavities in trabecular bone sections using the radiological absorptive method and in addition, distilled water is introduced into special incubation apparatuses around the limb bones of the hands and feet which are being examined. The problem being addressed by the claimed invention is to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of a preparation (preparations) (bone protector) and measure cavities in trabecular bone sections. It proposes to improve the diagnostic capabilities of computerised osteometers by measuring cavities caused by osteoporosis and determine the severity of the disease not only on the basis of mineral density, but also on the basis of the presence of cavities in trabecular bone sections.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of medicine and is used for diagnosing osteoporosis and measuring the effectiveness of prevention and treatment of the symptom. Background technique [0002] Osteoporosis is a bone metabolic disease, which is characterized by a decrease in bone mass per unit volume, destruction of the fine structure of bone tissue, and the formation of a porous structure in the bone, which will cause bone calcium loss and increase the risk of fractures, resulting in injuries including hip fractures. fractures of any part. [0003] As everyone knows at the technical level, there are many medicines for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, mainly imported medicines. These drugs can be divided into three categories: [0004] bone resorption inhibitor [0005] Estrogens (Divina, Divigel, Divitren, Estrofem, Climen, Klimonorm, Tibolon, etc.), [0006] Calcitonin, [0007] Dicarbophosphate compounds (Alendronate, Clodronat, Acl...
